Galina Avakova, Esq, is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Galina obtained her law degree from Taganrog Management and Economic Institute (TMEI) in Russia in 2012. Thereafter, she obtained her Master’s in Criminology and Justice from St. John’s University in 2014, and a Master’s Degree in Law from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in 2016.
Prior to joining the firm, Galina was an intern at Queens District Attorney’s Office, where she was involved mainly in drafting legal documents. Later, she joined The Human Rights Clinic, part of Cardozo Law School’s Human Rights Program.
She worked for the promotion of social and economic justice globally and in the U.S. and was engaged with the United Nations.At Gregory Spektor & Associates, P.C., Galina is involved in all stages of litigation, including all preparations for court hearings, arbitrations, mediation and depositions.
She is drafting motions and discovery responses, as well as performing factual and legal research.
